Algorithm of professional conduct and basic rules for thermal injuries

The health policies of the individual countries are aimed at improving the quality of care. This article discusses specific topics for the quality of health care in the healing process of burns. The basic rules and algorithms of behaviour presented in it are outlining guidelines for standards for providing quality effective care in case of combustion. A toolkit for standard behaviour and approaches in the different stages of the treatment process has been developed. The development and validation of standards regulating the activities and behaviour of medical staff, ensure patient safety and improve the quality of medical care. The presented guidelines will support the planning and organization of the applied professional activities, research and procedures in the care of patients with burns.
